On December 27, 2024, I purchased a pair of Skechers Bounder RSE sneakers from the Samsun Piazza Skechers store for ₺4600, expecting them to last given the brand’s reputation for quality. Shockingly, within just one month, the shoes showed significant signs of wear and tear. You can clearly see the condition from the photos I’ve attached.
I took the shoes back to the store where I bought them. They assured me that they would send the shoes to the central office for inspection. After nearly a month of waiting, I received a text message stating that the damage was the result of a "user error." I find this response extremely unfair and dismissive.
Here’s how I used the shoes: I wore them for my commute to work, took them off upon arriving, wore my work shoes throughout the day, and only put the Skechers back on in the evening to go home. That’s it. I didn’t run marathons, hike rugged trails, or abuse the product in any way.
How can Skechers claim a shoe that costs ₺4600 and is barely worn during the day is already falling apart due to "user error"? This explanation makes absolutely no sense. I expected durability, and I expected customer support when something went wrong. Instead, I feel completely let down.
I demand a proper review and a resolution to this issue. Either replace the shoes or refund my money—this level of quality is unacceptable.
