On April 13, 2025, I purchased the Skechers Air Ventura – Cataclysm model shoes from the Skechers store at Viaport Asia Shopping Mall. In less than four months, both soles developed horizontal cracks. In addition, the left sole became severely deformed and decayed, causing the shoes to start leaking water.
I returned to the store, explained the issue, and requested an exchange. The product was inspected twice, but both of my requests were rejected on the grounds that “no manufacturing defect was found.” I also contacted customer service and received the same response—that an exchange could not be made.
I believe the shoes are still under warranty, and I cannot accept that such a serious defect appeared in such a short time. I paid about $143 USD for this product, and I request that it be replaced with the same model or a different one. I have my invoice and all related documents. I kindly ask that my issue be resolved as soon as possible.
