On the evening of July 14, 2023, I used the Getir Food platform to order 278 TL worth of food from Popeyes. But my order was incomplete and wrong when it came. To make things even worse, I was charged extra for substitutions that didn't meet my needs. Specifically, I had requested a bucket of large-sized cage fries, but I received a bucket of small, regular potatoes instead. Also, the nuggets were not cooked enough and looked white. The chicken dip was also not done right and didn't have the right taste. It was a real letdown to have to pay more for these mediocre foods. Even though I wrote, called, emailed, and used the live support feature to try to solve the problem, Popeyes didn't answer my questions for a whopping two hours. Also, they put off giving me a refund and gave me reasons like there being too many restaurants or it being after 22 o'clock. While I wait for the broken items to be picked up, I don't know where my refund stands. My kids have been hungry for hours because they haven't been able to touch the half-eaten food package. My card was charged 278 TL, and it's still not clear if I'll be refunded. Also, the customer service representatives I talked to were rude and not very helpful. Even though I talked to them at least five times and sent six emails, they didn't listen to my complaints. Even after sending live support and email with pictures of the problem, nothing was done to fix it. Even worse, the courier from another company who came to get the return said that Popeyes employees had canceled the return request on purpose and tried to get rid of it from the system. This level of lying and carelessness is not acceptable. I want this problem to be fixed right away, and I want my money back for the bad food and bad service I got. Popeyes needs to own up to their mistakes, make sure customers get their money back quickly, and improve their customer service system so that similar disasters don't happen again. In the end, my experience with Popeyes delivery was a total bust. I'm very unhappy because I got things that were incomplete or wrong, the customer service was bad, and I didn't know if I would get a refund. I want Popeyes to act quickly to fix this problem and win back my trust in their brand.
