I previously purchased a 3-month membership from MUBI. However, for the month of May, they charged my credit card again without my knowledge or consent. I was not informed in advance, and I didn’t receive any email or message asking if I wanted to continue the subscription.

This unauthorized charge is completely unacceptable. If I had been notified, I would have declined the renewal. I immediately sent a refund request via email, but no one has responded to my message.

MUBI has now shown that it cannot be trusted when it comes to payment practices. Charging users without notice and then ignoring refund requests is not just bad customer service—it’s unethical.

I demand that MUBI refund the unauthorized charge immediately and stop renewing subscriptions without proper communication or consent. This issue must be resolved as soon as possible, and I expect a direct response.

Mubi refunded the fee to my credit card. Thank you. I wish they had continued their procedures by informing their users... Then I wouldn't have needed to use this method.
