I recently expressed interest in purchasing a Maserati and filled out the contact form on their website. Initially, I received a call from a Turkish-speaking representative in Italy who was warm, professional, and provided useful preliminary information. I was told that someone from Turkey would contact me for further assistance.
However, when I was finally contacted by a sales representative in Turkey, the experience was completely unprofessional. The person was dismissive, seemed rushed to end the call, and lacked basic sales skills. I requested details and quotes for two different Maserati models, only to be told, "These are very different cars; which one do you want?" I explained that I was aware of the differences and wanted information on both, yet I was bluntly given a single price without any further details. It was clear they had no intention of making a sale and were handling the job half-heartedly.
Frustrated, I told the representative it seemed like they weren’t interested in selling, to which they simply replied, "Good day," and ended the call. This experience made me realize why Maserati’s sales figures in Turkey are so low. After reading other complaints about their poor process management in Turkey, it’s evident that the brand has failed to establish a professional and reliable presence here.
