On October 3, I delivered my Philips espresso coffee machine to Güven Elektronik, the only authorized Philips service center in Aydın city center, because it was tripping the house circuit breaker whenever I turned it on. For a long time, I received no feedback, and when I called about a month later, I was told that my product had been forgotten at the service center and that a new service record would be opened. After another week or ten days, I called again and was informed that the machine was still not repaired; during this period, my warranty was about to expire, and I repeatedly emphasized that I was being inconvenienced, that the warranty period was ending, and that I urgently needed my machine repaired, yet no progress was made. I then contacted Philips Consumer Services and explained the entire process and the inconvenience I experienced, after which Güven Elektronik sent me an SMS stating that the service process was completed. However, when I picked up the machine, brought it home, and tried to use it, I saw that it still tripped the circuit breaker, and moreover, no coffee was coming out at all. It became clear that Güven Elektronik had not even opened the machine, did not know what the issue was, and falsely claimed “we checked it, there is no problem,” creating the impression that a repair had been done when it had not. I documented this situation by recording a video and shared it with Philips Consumer Services, explaining that Güven Elektronik had not repaired the product, had misled me with incorrect information, and had wasted my time, and I requested to be directed to another authorized service center so that my product could be properly examined. Despite this, Philips Consumer Services told me that the warranty period had expired, that I needed to take the product to another service center on my own, and that I could now only have it repaired for a fee. As a result, even though I left my machine at the service center within the warranty period, I lost valuable time due to Güven Elektronik’s negligence and stalling tactics, my warranty expired during this process, and I was left with a machine that is still faulty; therefore, I request that Philips and the authorized Güven Elektronik service center in Aydın take my grievance into account, have my device genuinely inspected and repaired free of charge under warranty or at the company’s discretion, and, if necessary, direct me to another reliable authorized service center.
