I bought an Arçelik air conditioner last summer, and I deeply regret it. Although it was brand new, I’ve had constant issues with the service from day one—and the Head Office doesn’t seem to care either. The Suadiye Service managed to install the unit only after coming five times, with at least 5–7 days between each visit. Every time you request service, you wait a week, they show up, fail to fix the issue, and then you wait another week for the next attempt—it’s like a never-ending story. Why should I have to wait days because of the service team’s incompetence or lack of experience? If the technician fails to resolve the issue on a visit, follow-up action should be scheduled immediately by Arçelik, not by the customer. I’ve had to spend days of my own time just trying to get this air conditioner to work properly. After barely using it last summer, I turned it on this year only to find it leaking water and showing errors again. I’ve gone through the same exhausting routine—three more visits this year and still no solution. I’m told they’ll probably come 3–5 more times and eventually fix it. The last visit from Göztepe Service was just yesterday—they looked at the unit, ignored the obvious mistake, and left. The pipe connected to the outdoor unit was installed with an incorrect upward slope instead of downward, so water cannot drain and ends up leaking inside. My floors are ruined, and I’ve had to use towels like I’m living under a leaking roof. I feel devastated. The after-sales service is terrible, and I’ve been left helpless despite paying good money. I filed a complaint with the General Directorate, but no one followed up. All they do is schedule another 5–7 day appointment—never a solution. I will never choose Arçelik again, and I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone.
