Arçelik Air Conditioner Leaking Water and Unhelpful Service Left Me Disappointed
Hello! I purchased an Arçelik air conditioner a few months ago, and unfortunately, it has been leaking water from the indoor unit. The service came twice to address the issue and claimed that this situation is to be expected, citing factors like the environment, external influences, and the hot weather. They took off the covers, gave them a good cleaning, and put them back on in an attempt to fix the issue. However, I kept encountering the same issue more frequently, so I decided to open another service record. I received a call in the evening at 20:00 regarding my appointment scheduled for 23.08.2024 between 10:00 - 12:00. I didn't receive any information so far, so I decided to contact the call center after the scheduled appointment time. I explained that the service was a no-show and that I hadn't been given any updates. The service employee who called me at 20:00 mentioned that they would come to verify my presence at home. I informed him that the appointment was scheduled for the morning, emphasizing its lateness. The service employee explained that their arrival time was delayed due to the distance they had to travel and the high workload they were facing. So, I informed him that I wasn't home at the time and couldn't wait for the service to arrive hours after the scheduled appointment. I made it clear that I would be filing a complaint about the matter. Basically, I'm expressing my frustration with the Arçelik air conditioner I purchased to keep my child comfortable during this sweltering weather. Unfortunately, the service employees who came to address the issue were unhelpful and uninformed. Additionally, the call center only prolonged the problem instead of resolving it, despite my repeated complaints. I am very dissatisfied with Arçelik due to their poor product quality, subpar service, and unhelpful call center. I am planning to escalate the unfortunate situation I have encountered to the Consumer Court due to the sale of defective products and the provision of support with unauthorized and unqualified service. I will make sure to share my experience with Arçelik company and how they have mistreated us with our hard-earned money on various platforms.
