I flew with Turkish Airlines Anadolu Jet. (I arranged a 2-day vacation and booked a flight for my spouse's birthday) They lost my luggage on my Ankara - Antalya flight. (on June 24, 2023) I planned to arrive at the hotel between 12:00-13:00 but reached there between 16:00-17:00.
My luggage contained items we needed for swimming and all of my baby's care and hygiene products. I had to spend ₺4500 to buy essential items immediately. I reported the issue to Turkish Airlines with receipts and invoices. File no: 2023123947 // dah ayttk40034.
After a whole month, they got back to me asking for my IBAN and said they would compensate me. After an additional 10 days, they paid ₺1302. What kind of service is this? Is it our fault and are we splitting the cost?
If we can't trust Turkish Airlines, who can we trust? Is this how things should be? You even wasted one day of my hotel stay. Instead of addressing my extra inconvenience, is this the right approach? I didn't complain on this platform to avoid damaging the brand image, but you left me no choice. I expect full compensation for my loss.
