Turkish Airlines Delayed My Compensation for Lost Baggage
On 07.11.2023, during my Turkish Airlines TK0015 flight from Istanbul to Sao Paulo, my checked baggage was lost. Since my baggage could not be found within the specified 5+21 day period by Turkish Airlines, I was informed on 25.12.2023 that a compensation payment of ₺8485 would be made within 6-10 business days. On 26.12.2023, I confirmed my acceptance of the compensation amount and provided the necessary bank account details. On the same date, I was informed that the payment instruction had been forwarded to the insurance company. Despite the compensation payment period being 15 days as of today, I have not received any payment. Every time I contact Turkish Airlines regarding this issue, I am told that my request has been forwarded to the insurance company, but no payment is made. This situation has caused me prolonged inconvenience, and I urgently request that my issue be resolved promptly.
