My Tefal Clipso Chef Pressure Cooker Makes a Loud Whistling Noise Every Time It Boils
On January 27, 2026, I purchased a Tefal Clipso Chef 4.5L + 6L pressure cooker set from the Tefal store located in Orion Shopping Mall in Çorlu, Tekirdağ. The purchase was made under invoice number KPD2026000000031. From the very first use, the product has produced an extremely loud whistling noise whenever it reaches the boiling stage. The sound is so intense that it resembles the noise of an airplane engine and occurs consistently during every use.
Because of this issue, I delivered the product to an authorized Tefal service center for inspection. The pressure cooker remained at the service center for approximately one week. However, it was returned to me with the statement that no problem had been detected. Unfortunately, the exact same issue continues without any improvement. Every time the cooker begins operating under pressure, it produces the same excessive noise.
I believe this issue may be related to a manufacturing defect or a design flaw rather than normal operation. For that reason, I requested a replacement instead of a repair, asking either for a new unit of the same model or an equivalent alternative model. However, during a conversation with customer service today, I was informed that a replacement would not be possible and that I could only submit a complaint if I wished to pursue the matter further.
This product is covered by a two-year warranty, and I am experiencing this problem less than five months after purchase. I request that Tefal properly evaluate the recurring issue and provide a replacement with a defect-free equivalent product or offer an alternative model of similar value and specifications. I would appreciate a fair resolution under the warranty terms so that I can use the product safely and without ongoing disruption.
