Turkish Airlines Delivered My Suitcase Open and Damaged; and Didn't Compensate It
Hello, after my Turkish Airlines flight on July 29, 2023, with flight number TK 339693 7050/29 from Ankara Esenboğa Airport to Bingöl Airport, my suitcase was delivered to me damaged and completely open. Immediately after the flight, I went to the Turkish Airlines ticket sales office at Bingöl Airport and reported my missing items, requesting the necessary reports to be filed. However, despite my insistence, the staff at the office did not file a report and told me that my damage would be compensated if I provided feedback to Turkish Airlines. On the same day, I provided feedback to Turkish Airlines. Despite proving my grievance with photos and sharing the price information of my lost items via email for about a month, they constantly delayed and rejected my request after about a month. They claimed that I had prohibited items, even though I had uploaded photos to the files. However, my lost items were my charger, perfume, and shampoo, none of which are prohibited items. Turkish Airlines, despite not being prohibited, claimed that my lost items were prohibited. I have an approximate loss of ₺10,000 and I want Turkish Airlines to compensate for this loss. I have uploaded the relevant photos as evidence. My ticket number: 235339693.
