Turkish Airlines Damaged My Baggage But Didn't Provide Any Solution

On August 25th, after our flight from Istanbul Airport to Gatwick, England, we received our luggage in a damaged state. A large piece had broken off from the part where the wheel is, and my belongings were almost falling out through this gap. I went to the relevant section at the airport, and they saw the damage, prepared a report, and uploaded it to the system. They said that within a week, THY would contact me to either replace my luggage or compensate me. I waited for a month, but no one contacted me. Subsequently, I wrote to the relevant section on THY's website, attaching the report. Despite having the report, they asked for pictures of the luggage and the receipt for the luggage I bought four years ago. Since the luggage was unusable, I threw it away, and naturally, I didn't keep the receipt for the large suitcase I bought to carry more items when moving to the UK. How could I have known they would throw and break my luggage so badly? Otherwise, I wouldn't have discarded the receipt. I don't understand why the report prepared and uploaded by the relevant officer at the airport is not accepted, and why they keep making strange requests. They keep sending me emails saying the issue is being investigated and that they will ask Gatwick Airport. We can't resolve any of our issues without swearing and cursing. I know that this unethical THY will not pay me my money. Don't fall into the same situation as me, or you won't be able to get your money from these people either.
