Turkish Airlines Damaged My Luggage But Didn't Didn't Resolve It
In May, during my trip to Erzincan, my baggage was damaged. The staff there told me that I could get it repaired and that they couldn't provide a new one, claiming that the damage wasn't significant. As I had a place to be, I didn't have time to argue and left with a report. Later, upon closer inspection, I realized that the wheels were broken from the body, the pull handle was completely broken, and the frame structure of the suitcase was damaged, making it impossible to move. When I arrived in Istanbul, I spoke with THY customer service, who said I was entitled to a new suitcase and asked me to send the necessary documents. I sent them, but then they asked for the receipt of the broken suitcase. I sent a similar product's price, and they still said further investigation was needed. It's been 5 months, and there's no resolution. How can such a large company like THY cause such inconvenience? For 5 months, I've been dealing with the inconvenience I faced during my trip. If you can't resolve the issue, why are you delaying? THY is a regret. Don't think they'll resolve your damaged baggage issue quickly; they'll cause you inconvenience.
