On September 6, 2024, my spouse used the Yemeksepeti app to order two sandwich meals from Subway, for which I paid ₺606 with my card. One meal was correct, but the other, which should have been a tuna sandwich, arrived as a smoked turkey sandwich. My spouse absolutely doesn’t eat such items and shouldn’t be forced to. We noticed the mistake just before eating and had already opened the drinks. We immediately requested a replacement through the app, but customer service refused, offering only ParaPuan, which I didn’t accept since we don’t order frequently. I requested a refund and even offered to return the meal, but all I got were messages telling me to "preserve the product."
After waiting a full day, the food spoiled, and no one followed up with us. We’re not obligated to hold on to spoiled food! If you can’t fix the issue immediately, why offer intermediary services, Yemeksepeti? It’s now September 25, and still no response. I even filed a chargeback on my credit card, but why should I have to go through all this trouble over a simple wrong order? In other countries, they would replace or refund without hesitation, but here it feels like consumers are left without protection. I demand a resolution and my refund immediately!
