On February 18th, I placed an order from Subway through Yemek Sepeti, which arrived about two hours later. The order fell far below expected standards, leaving me disappointed and frustrated.
The sandwich contained an excessive amount of peppers, and the meat was in an unidentifiable state. The side items were haphazardly packaged. Immediately after the courier left, we reported the issue through Yemek Sepeti and requested a refund.
About 40 minutes later, we were informed that the restaurant had closed and the refund process would have to wait until the next day. When we contacted the restaurant the following afternoon, three hours of correspondence failed to resolve the issue. A courier's refusal to collect the package, citing weather conditions, and asking unnecessary questions only exacerbated the negative experience.
When we reported this to Yemek Sepeti, we were told the restaurant would be warned, but no refund could be initiated. This process left us feeling not only financially shortchanged but also undervalued as customers.
It's unacceptable that Yemek Sepeti, a service we've used for years and always tipped couriers, couldn't provide an effective solution. We've observed that Yemek Sepeti doesn't seem to impose effective sanctions on partnered companies and couriers.
As consumers, it's concerning how easily our rights can be violated. I do not accept this poor-quality, careless service and demand a refund for the amount paid.
