I booked a flexible ticket for my Vietnam flight through Mytrip, expecting that I could cancel it if needed. However, when I tried to cancel the booking as my departure date approached, I was only met with automated responses and could not reach a real customer service representative.
Finally, 40 hours before my flight, I was informed that I had to pay a 1,300₺ service fee just to process the cancellation. My booking remained active until departure, and after the flight time passed, I received two emails with conflicting information.
The first email stated that I was issued a 3,614.97₺ voucher valid for 365 days. The second email said I would receive a 1,342₺ refund in five business days, without any clear explanation.
This lack of transparency and inconsistent refund process feels completely unprofessional. I ended up losing nearly 5,000₺, and I don’t want others to experience the same. Mytrip must be upfront about cancellation fees and refund policies instead of misleading travelers.
