I booked a flight from Istanbul to Bangkok for August 22 through Mytrip.com, but due to uncertainty in my work situation, I needed to cancel the ticket. When I contacted Mytrip customer service to request a cancellation, I was told that the ticket could not be canceled under any circumstances.
Now, I’m facing the possibility of losing ₺36,000 for a flight I may not be able to take. This is a significant amount of money, and the lack of flexibility or any form of compensation from Mytrip is incredibly frustrating. There was no clear warning during the booking process that the ticket would be completely non-refundable or non-cancellable—even in legitimate situations.
As a customer, I expect at least partial refunds or rescheduling options, especially when the travel date is still weeks away. Mytrip's strict and inflexible policy is not only disappointing but also unfair for travelers who face real-life circumstances beyond their control.
I strongly urge Mytrip to review their cancellation policies and provide refund or credit options for customers who act in advance. I also want to warn others to think twice before booking non-cancellable tickets through this platform.
