On Friday, April 25, I booked a flight ticket through the travel agency Mytrip, which was listed at ₺6,146 during the booking process. I proceeded to the payment screen where the same price was clearly displayed. However, after completing the transaction, I was shocked to see that Mytrip had charged me ₺6,777—₺631 more than the confirmed price.
I immediately contacted their customer support and was told, “You’re absolutely right, but unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about it.” This kind of response is both unacceptable and a clear violation of consumer protection laws and ethical business practices.
Displaying one price at checkout and charging another after payment is misleading and deceptive. I have full documentation and screenshots proving the discrepancy. I demand a full refund of the excess amount charged and urge Mytrip to stop misleading customers with price manipulation tactics. This needs to be addressed and corrected immediately.
