I wanted to book a room through Hotels.com, but the price quoted to me and the final payment price were very different. I tried refreshing the page to see if I was mistaken, but nothing had changed. The displayed price was 2,869 TL, and the reservation price was 3,345 TL. When I called Hotels.com, I was told that the prices had been updated. We spend so many hours looking for a cheap hotel, and while we're at it, the price changes during the purchasing process - THIS IS A SCAM. When I called them, they were unable to assist me and, as usual, blamed the technical glithc. At the very least, I expected them to give a discount code - the person I spoke to simply said "this is out of my hand". Hotels.com does not have a particularly good hotel group, but I was using them because of the point system. I'd like to state that they will not be my first choice going forward.
