I placed an order on dyson.com on August 6, 2024, using my credit card with a 6-month interest-free installment plan. I received a 'thank you' email from d*****@dyson.com.tr confirming my order. However, on August 10, 2024, I learned via a bank message that my payment was refunded. Since I opted for installments, the entire refund process will take 6 months!
Dyson did not notify me via SMS, email, or phone call. On August 13, 2024, when I contacted Dyson customer service, they could not access my order details and only mentioned the payment was refunded due to 'security reasons,' without explaining further. There’s no issue with my card, as I shop actively both internationally and domestically. It seems Dyson has a security flaw in their system. Their website staff cannot even view order details, and phone support has been unhelpful, promising emails that never arrive or are delayed.
I'm deeply disappointed with Dyson. Despite its reputation, the brand’s service before and after purchase has been lacking. A brand should be evaluated on its overall service, not just its products. Dyson now feels like a brand with poor customer support and I will be sharing this negative experience with my network.
