I am writing regarding an issue with an unwanted monthly subscription charge on Finds.net. I signed up for a trial, but I did not intend to continue with a paid monthly subscription, and I did not knowingly subscribe to a monthly plan. On 8 February 2026, an amount of R750 was taken from my bank card for a monthly subscription that I did not wish to purchase. I only noticed this on 9 February 2026. I contacted my bank, and they informed me that they would look into the transaction. I also reached out to Finds.net, but I was told that they cannot refund me because, according to them, after the trial, the account automatically moves to a monthly subscription. I do not agree with being charged R750 for a service I did not intentionally subscribe to, and I consider this an unauthorized or at least non‑transparent charge. I request a full refund of the R750 taken from my bank card and the immediate cancellation of any active subscription linked to my account, as well as the removal or cancellation of my card details from their system so that no further charges can be taken without my explicit consent. I kindly ask that this situation be reviewed and resolved as soon as possible, and that my refund and card cancellation be confirmed in writing.
