At the end of December 2019, I purchased a DJI Osmo Pocket model compact gimbal camera to use on the upcoming New Year's Eve. I used the camera twice, on New Year's Eve 2020 and half a day a month after that. A few months later, when I tried to use it again, the gimbal system malfunctioned, and the device did initialize. I applied to the service and after waiting for two months, the device was replaced with a new one under warranty. Since it was announced that the new model of the camera would be released at that time, I put the replacement boxed product for sale on the internet. After one and a half years I gave up selling the device and tried to activate it for my son, I saw that it was not charging. In the meantime, a few months intervened due to health problems and death in the family. Again, I left the second device to Karfo DJI service on May 30, 2023. Fifteen days later, I was called to the service with the information that the problem was solved. At the service, I was told that the charging problem was solved by direct intervention on the motherboard to solve the problem in the USB port of the device. After some health problems and traveling again, I tried to recharge and activate the device at the end of July. This time the camera got hot like fire in a very short time without charging. I took it back for service. At the end of the week, the device was returned to me with a label on it saying, "There is a fault on the motherboard, it is not possible to repair it". It was said that (a device that has never been used or even activated, in other words, a DOA) device is not covered by the warranty, because the warranty period of the first purchased device has expired. Manufacturer DJI does not accept situations like mine I was told. When I objected to the situation, I was offered a camera that had been used and activated, had bruised contacts, had scratches on it, and was therefore in an uncertain condition. I refused. The first camera I bought turned out to be faulty. It gets replaced with a new one. The second device also comes out of the box inoperable, and the importer's argument is that the warranty period of the first purchase has expired. Yes, the law says so, but in my case, the camera I bought for a meaningful amount of money was not once, but twice was garbage, while I was not at fault in the slightest. I have been in the photography and video business for almost forty years. Never again will I buy a DJI brand or a product imported by Karfo.
