Wchapp Unauthorized Subscription – Request Cancellation And Refund
To Whom It May Concern at WCHAPP, I am writing to lodge a complaint regarding unauthorized and deceptive subscription charges made by wchapp.com on my account. I initially engaged with your service in connection with an Apple Watch face app that appeared to be a low-cost, one-time purchase or a trial. At no point did I clearly and explicitly agree to an ongoing, high-fee subscription. I later discovered that I have been placed on a recurring monthly plan. I have been charged six monthly payments of $944, $949, $955, $947, $940, and $948 respectively, starting on 8 January 2026, totaling $5,683 USD. Additionally, a foreign transaction fee of $14 USD was applied to each monthly charge, adding another $84 USD in extra fees. In total, $5,767 USD was charged to my account without my conscious approval and without any transparent disclosure that such high, ongoing fees would apply. I have bank statements clearly showing these recurring debits, and I am raising this issue as unauthorized and deceptive billing. I am currently in the process of disputing these charges and I am contacting you now to give your company the opportunity to resolve this matter directly. I demand the following actions. First, I request the immediate cancellation of any and all subscriptions, memberships, or recurring billing profiles associated with my details, including any profiles linked to the Apple Watch face app. Second, I request a full refund of all recurring subscription charges that have been billed to my card in connection with this app, as I did not knowingly consent to such a subscription or to this level of monthly charge. Please confirm in writing that my subscription has been permanently cancelled and that the refund for all unauthorized recurring charges has been processed. If this matter is not resolved promptly and in full, I will escalate this dispute to my card-issuing bank as fraudulent or unauthorized transactions and will report the situation to the relevant consumer protection authorities. I expect your swift attention and a prompt resolution to this issue.
