Hit And Run Accident On 7/14/2026 - Amazon Truck
On July 14, 2026, an Amazon delivery truck hit my car while exiting the driveway at 1324 Hill Street in Albemarle, North Carolina, and then left the scene without stopping. This was effectively a hit‑and‑run, and I am extremely upset and disappointed that the driver did not take responsibility. There is Ring camera footage at the house that recorded the incident, and I also have photos showing the damage to my vehicle. I am 71 years old and disabled, and this situation has caused me not only property damage but also significant anxiety and distress. I have tried multiple times to reach Amazon about this matter but have only been met with automated systems and no physical human to speak with, which has made the experience even more frustrating. I am requesting compensation of $3,000 from Amazon to cover the damage to my car and for the anxiety and suffering this incident has caused me. I want this to be taken seriously, the driver and incident to be properly investigated, and for Amazon to finally provide a real, satisfactory resolution.
