I listed my property on Booking.com and entered all the information correctly, including the full address. But when I checked the listing afterward, I was shocked to see that the location was completely wrong on the map — nowhere near where my property actually is.
Concerned that guests might be misled or end up at the wrong place, I tried urgently contacting Booking.com to get it fixed. That turned out to be a nightmare. Reaching their customer service felt like trying to get through to a secret agency. No help desk, no visible support email. After hours of digging, I finally found a phone number. I waited on hold for what felt like forever, and when I finally got someone on the line through the English help option, the agents were cold, robotic, and unhelpful, no matter how many times I called.
Despite all my efforts, the map still shows the wrong location, and I’ve removed my property from Booking.com out of pure frustration. It’s unbelievable that a global platform handling so many bookings can’t fix something as basic as a location pin — especially when it puts hosts and guests at risk.
Booking.com, you make plenty of money off your hosts. Maybe start investing in actual customer support. For what it’s worth, I’m getting regular, stress-free bookings through Airbnb without any of this chaos. Take note.
