I Can’t Get a Hotel Invoice from Booking.com or Hotel for Airline Refund Claim
I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability from Booking.com and the hotel I booked through their platform. Due to a flight delay, we arrived at the hotel one day late, and to claim a refund from the airline, I simply needed an official hotel invoice showing the full booking details. Sounds simple, right? But it turned into a nightmare.
I contacted Booking.com, and they told me the hotel is responsible for providing the invoice. I reached out to the hotel, and they told me Booking.com must issue it. They just kept passing the responsibility back and forth—neither helped, and I still don’t have the document I need.
