I canceled a fully refundable hotel reservation on Booking.com, and even after several months, I still haven’t received my refund. When I first contacted customer service, they claimed the refund had already been processed and that the issue was with my bank. Naturally, I followed up with my bank, but they confirmed no such refund was received or pending in my account.

Since then, I’ve gone back and forth with Booking multiple times, but all I get are delays and vague excuses. They keep stalling and dragging the issue out, but I’m tired of the lies and the lack of accountability. It’s outrageous that a platform this large and supposedly reliable fails to honor a basic refund policy.

If even refundable bookings turn into such a headache with Booking.com, I seriously advise others not to book through them. I want my full refund issued immediately, or I’ll be taking this up with consumer protection authorities.
