Booking.com Refused Refund After Hotel Requested Cancellation
I made a hotel reservation through Booking.com, but the property later contacted me directly, stating there was an issue with the room and asked me to cancel the booking. After confirming this via WhatsApp, I canceled the reservation as requested.
However, Booking.com has not issued my refund, and their customer service has been completely unresponsive to my messages. The hotel confirmed that they informed Booking.com about the cancellation and that the refund should come from Booking.com, yet nothing has been resolved.
This lack of support and accountability is unacceptable. I demand Booking.com processes my refund immediately and improves its customer service to ensure such issues don’t happen again. This experience has been extremely frustrating.
