On February 4, 2025, I purchased a pair of Asics GEL-Trabuco 12 GTX shoes from Sportive’s website, paying ₺6,629. I expected a durable, high-quality product—especially for that price. But within less than a month, the right front sole started tearing and wearing down.
What’s even more frustrating is that I didn’t even use the shoes for outdoor activities. Despite being an outdoor model, I only wore them around the city, on flat, normal surfaces. There was no damage anywhere else on the shoes, only the exact area I reported. I sent them in for inspection, hoping for a proper resolution, but instead I received a dismissive rejection, blaming the issue on “user error.”
Not only am I unable to use the product I paid a premium for, but I’m also being wrongfully blamed for something clearly related to poor craftsmanship or a manufacturing flaw.
Asics, I’m demanding accountability. Either offer a full refund or send a replacement. This isn’t just about the money—it’s about principle. You don’t get to sell defective products and then shift the blame to your customers. I will pursue every avenue to get this resolved. Don’t ignore this.
