Airbnb Unauthorized Charges on My Card Totaling 23,400₺ Without Refund

Last month, my credit card registered with Airbnb was charged four separate times without my knowledge or consent—on the 17th, 19th, 21st, and 23rd. The amounts were 1,400₺, 5,000₺, 8,000₺, and 9,000₺, totaling 23,400₺. I have no other card or payment method linked to my account, and I never received any email notification or in-app alert regarding these charges.
After struggling for days to reach customer service, I was told that my card might have been used by relatives traveling abroad. This explanation is both illogical and unacceptable, given that the charges were made in increasing amounts on different dates. When I pressed for clarification, I received no proper answer. Furthermore, communication was extremely difficult—despite being given a Turkish contact number, the line only offered English support, and no meaningful resolution was provided.
To date, no refund has been issued, and my money remains missing. This situation has caused serious stress and financial harm. I demand the immediate return of the unauthorized total of 23,400₺ and a clear explanation of how such fraudulent transactions could occur through Airbnb’s platform.
Airbnb must improve payment security and transparency to ensure that other users are not subjected to the same risk and prolonged frustration.
