I Face Unauthorized Credit Card Charge on Airbnb Without Booking or Account Use

On July 26, 2025, I discovered an unauthorized charge of ₺3,036.44 on my credit card through Airbnb, despite not actively using my Airbnb account. The card used for this transaction was not even registered to my account, and I never received any booking confirmation or email from Airbnb regarding the reservation.
I immediately contacted Airbnb customer service via email. Instead of offering a resolution, they stated that no refund would be issued, suggested that someone I know might have used my card, and implied that I should investigate it myself. I also contacted my bank, which has now opened an investigation. No other suspicious activity has been detected on my account.
This transaction was carried out entirely without my knowledge or consent. I demand a full refund of the amount charged to my card and expect Airbnb to implement stronger security measures to prevent such unauthorized transactions in the future. I also urge Airbnb to take responsibility rather than shifting the burden of investigation onto the customer.
