While booking a hotel room through Agoda, I attempted to change the reservation dates, but the system somehow kept the old dates active. Despite modifying the selection, my card was charged based on the previous, incorrect dates. I noticed the mistake immediately and tried to fix it, but Agoda has been completely unhelpful.

They refused both a refund and a date correction, even though the error was identified quickly and the room was not used. There is no flexibility, no real customer service, and absolutely no consideration for the customer experience.

I am extremely frustrated with how Agoda handled this situation. I demand either a full refund or a date adjustment for the reservation I never used. If Agoda wants to be considered a reliable platform, they should take responsibility for system-related issues and support their users — not push them aside when money is involved.

Until this is resolved, I will not be using Agoda again and strongly warn others to double-check every detail, because if anything goes wrong, you’re completely on your own.
