I Can’t Modify My Agoda Booking and Accidentally Triggered a Cancellation
I made a hotel reservation through Agoda, but I later needed to make some changes to the booking details. Unfortunately, the system did not allow me to make any modifications, and while trying to navigate the platform, I accidentally initiated the cancellation process. Now, I’m stuck in a situation where I can’t undo the cancellation and Agoda offers no way to contact real customer support for urgent help.
I even reached out to the hotel directly. The hotel staff were willing to help but informed me that all changes or cancellations must be processed through Agoda’s system, and there’s nothing they can do on their end until Agoda resolves the issue.
It’s extremely frustrating to be left in the dark like this. I expect Agoda to contact me immediately to either reinstate my reservation or at least provide direct customer service to fix the issue. A booking platform of this scale should not make it so difficult to reach support or correct simple booking errors. Please resolve this as soon as possible.
