I Wore My Zara Sneakers a Few Times and the Sole Split Open

Hello. A few years ago, I bought a pair of Zara sneakers that I didn’t wear right away—they stayed in my closet, practically untouched. I finally wore them last season without any issues and really liked them. However, when I put them on again this season, I was shocked to find a massive split in the sole.
How can this happen in shoes that have barely been worn? They’ve been used only a handful of times and stored properly. This kind of quality issue in such lightly used footwear is unacceptable.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt or the original invoice. Still, I believe that as a well-known global brand, Zara should stand behind the quality of its products regardless of when they were purchased—especially when they clearly haven’t been worn much.
I’m asking Zara to acknowledge this product defect and offer a solution—whether it’s a repair, replacement, or store credit. Ignoring customer concerns about product durability seriously damages brand trust. Please take responsibility and resolve this issue.
