Turkish Airlines Seating Issue with 5-Year-Old Child
Three days before our Antalya-Istanbul flight on Saturday, July 13, 2024, we received an SMS from Turkish Airlines informing us that the seat we booked with miles for our 5-year-old son had been reassigned away from us. We spent an hour trying to reach the call center. Should a 5-year-old child fly separately from their parents? What kind of company are you? Did you think an SMS absolves you of all responsibility? You are penalizing those who book with miles. Your mileage program is misleading. How can you change the seat of a 5-year-old without considering their age? And then, don't try to mimic Flypgs by saying 'dear children' in your departure announcements. No family should fly with you. Do I have to fight for this? I've never seen such rudeness.
