On May 22, 2024, I purchased a flight from Istanbul to Paris via Turkish Airlines. I used my Miles & Smiles card to buy the ticket, and all my information is recorded. Later, I wanted to add my 4.5-year-old son to the ticket. However, the system did not allow me to purchase the ticket because my son is 4.5 years old. Despite being the passenger on the flight with my membership number and details, I couldn't buy the ticket. I then called customer service for support. Although I saw the ticket priced at ₺6473.03 on the website, the call center agents first quoted ₺7400, then transferred me to another agent who quoted ₺7762.03, including the call center fee. Initially, I didn't buy the ticket. When I called again to purchase it, I spoke with Mr. S**** and then Mr. M***** around 20:25. I spent a total of 46 minutes on the call, and Mr. M***** hung up because he couldn't provide the price information. Later, Mr. M***** called me back from 444 0 849 and offered to sell the ticket for ₺7762.03. I bought it. I am requesting a refund of the extra ₺1289 I was forced to pay due to this system issue.
