Turkish Airlines Rescheduled My Flight Without My Consent
My flight from Ankara Esenboğa to Çanakkale on November 20, 2023, at 00:30 was rescheduled just three days before the flight via a text message two days later. When I contacted Turkish Airlines about this, I was offered either a refund or alternative flights with three layovers exceeding 12 hours. I had planned my return weeks to be in Çanakkale on the morning of November 20. Now, I will have to cancel my ticket and buy a new one to Istanbul, then arrange my transfer by road. Due to the last-minute notice, the ticket price has increased 4-5 times. I expected a serious solution from Turkish Airlines, but their customer representative, Mr. A****, did not take the issue seriously and suggested filling out a feedback form in a dismissive manner. This seems to be the level of value Turkish Airlines places on its customers. I expected Turkish Airlines to approach its customers with more focus on solutions and seriousness. To address my grievance, I need to reach Çanakkale by Sunday night. Therefore, I request a more suitable flight alternative or, if necessary, a road transfer from Izmir or Istanbul. I expect Turkish Airlines to resolve this issue promptly.
