Turkish Airlines Rescheduled My Flight and I Experienced Inconvenience
On 08/11/2023, I was supposed to fly from Tirana to Istanbul with THY's partner airline, Air Albania, at 11:35 AM. On 06/11/2023, I received an email stating that the flight was rescheduled to 07:25 AM. The email instructed me to update my ticket via the ticket management button. However, both the email link and the THY mobile app's ticket management button consistently gave errors. Since the email arrived at 19:06, I went to the airport the next morning. The Air Albania staff informed me that check-in would open 2 hours before the flight, and I needed to check in at the airport. At 05:25 AM the next morning, during check-in, my name was not on the passenger list, and I was denied boarding. After 3 hours of effort, I managed to book a ticket for 23:05 Turkey time on the same day, resulting in a total travel time of 23 hours. Despite my communications through THY's feedback platform, I could not convey that the email and mobile app ticket management buttons were not working and that I was misled by Air Albania staff. I request that my inconvenience be addressed. Due to system errors, it took me 23 hours to reach home.
