On March 17th, I booked a flight from Tirana to Istanbul scheduled to depart at 18:10 through Tripadvisor with Air Albania. Tripadvisor informed me that the flight was delayed, changing my arrival time to 02:45. Since I had no way to get home and needed to go to work the next day, I started looking for another flight. I found an 18:50 flight on Turkish Airlines' (THY) website and purchased the ticket at double the usual price. My PNR and ticket information were issued by THY. Upon arriving at the airport at 15:00, I discovered that my THY ticket was actually a codeshare flight with Air Albania and that I had bought a ticket for the same flight again. There was no delay information on THY's website when I purchased the ticket. The situation worsened as the flight was delayed again to 01:45 (arrival in Istanbul at 05:30), but THY's official website still showed 18:50. There were no THY staff at the airport to assist us. THY had no information about the ticket they sold. I trusted your airline and bought the ticket, but I faced a complete inconvenience. Due to your organizational failure, I bought tickets for the same flight twice and was not informed about the 8-hour delay. Because of your inability to do your job properly, I lost both time and money. I am now uncertain about how I will get to work the next day.
