Turkish Airlines Flight Rescheduling Issue: Unable to Move My Ticket Earlier
On May 27, 2024, I landed in Istanbul from Tirana at 03:30. There are flights to Konya at 06:30 and 14:00. Since I was coming from abroad, I left a gap in case of delays and booked the 14:00 flight. However, as there were no delays, I arrived in Istanbul at 03:30. I wanted to move my flight to 06:30 if there was availability. Despite there being available seats, they did not move my flight earlier. Now, I am forced to wait for about 7 hours. Is it so difficult to reschedule a ticket when there are available seats? If there were no available seats, I would understand. But I asked until the last minute, and despite the availability, THY officials did not assist. The reason given was that I needed to request 4 hours in advance. This is not acceptable from THY. They have caused inconvenience to their passenger.
