Turkish Airlines Provided Lack of Assistance About My Pet Travel Request
On February 24, 2024, I purchased a ticket but have been unable to make any changes to it. Since I will be traveling with my dog, I initially requested to have my dog travel with me in the cabin with an emotional support report. It took two weeks to get a response, and I was not informed. Later, I gave up on having my dog travel in the cabin because none of the customer representatives had sufficient information on this matter, so I requested to send my dog in the cargo hold instead. However, I found out that the ticket I purchased was for Anadolu Jet, and they said they couldn't process it. None of the eight customer representatives I spoke to were able to assist me. When I called THY, they said, 'Ajet will handle it, we can't,' while Ajet said, 'Tickets starting with 235 are not ours, THY can handle it,' and no action was taken. I filed two complaints but received no resolution. I cannot make any changes to the ticket I bought a month in advance to avoid issues. This situation is unacceptable. If you cannot process the ticket I purchased, why do you offer it for sale? I do not expect this complaint to bring a solution either. I have been inconvenienced due to THY's lack of attention. I want everyone to be aware of this situation.
