Turkish Airlines Flight TK7745: Delayed Baggage from Ercan to Sabiha Gokcen
On 12/09/2023, my THY flight TK7745 from Ercan to Sabiha Gokcen departed with a 1-hour delay. Upon arrival at Sabiha Gokcen, I had to wait an additional 1 hour and 20 minutes for my baggage. The staff informed me that my baggage was held up at customs. After further inquiry, I discovered that my baggage was never loaded onto the plane and was left at Ercan Airport.
They had me fill out a form and assured me that my baggage would be picked up from Ercan and delivered to Sabiha Gokcen, and then sent to me via courier. When I asked about the delivery time, they said it would reach me the next day. Later that evening, they called again to inform me that my baggage would arrive the following day, but I am still waiting.
I choose THY to avoid such hassles, but this situation has been quite frustrating. I am not making any extra demands; I just want my baggage delivered as soon as possible.
