Turna.com Fails to Notify Passenger of Flight Change, Causing Missed Flight

1

I purchased a ticket through Turna.com (Akça Havacılık ve Seyahat A.Ş.) for Azimuth Airlines flight A4 5070 from Istanbul to Sochi, scheduled for August 2, 2026. When I arrived at the airport on the day of the flight, I discovered that my departure time had been moved earlier and that I had therefore missed my flight.

The email sent to me by Turna.com regarding the flight schedule change did not clearly state the new departure time and merely instructed me to contact the travel agency. Although the Passenger Rights Regulation for Air Transport (SHY-PASS) requires flight schedule changes to be communicated to passengers clearly, understandably, and in a timely manner, this obligation was not fulfilled.

Because of this incomplete and inadequate notification, I was seriously inconvenienced at the airport while traveling with my 4-year-old child, and I was effectively prevented from exercising my right to transportation. Due to this clear failure on the part of the travel agency and the airline representative, I was unable to use the service I had purchased and did not receive the benefit of the amount I paid.

For the reservation under booking code VFK3PP purchased through Turna.com, I request a full refund of the $404 ticket fare, without any deductions, due to the defective service and inadequate notification that caused the inconvenience I experienced.
