Turkish Airlines Delayed My Flight and Didn't Deliver My Luggage
On November 19, 2023, I was on THY flight TK2201 scheduled for 12:00 PM. We were delayed for 45 minutes on the plane before taking off. After arriving at Istanbul Airport, we waited another 45 minutes for our luggage, but it never arrived. Later, the staff informed us that the luggage for 25 passengers, including mine, would arrive on the next flight. No reason was given. They took our address and phone details and assured us that our three pieces of luggage would be delivered to our address the next day. However, more than 24 hours have passed, and there has been no update. When I check with the reference code, it says, 'The search operation to locate your baggage is ongoing. Please check back later.' Why were our bags not loaded onto the plane initially, and why is the search still ongoing despite being told they would arrive the next day? How will you address our inconvenience? How can we trust THY for future travels?
