Turkish Airlines Flight Schedule Change Without Notice Caused Inconvenience
On February 17, 2024, despite arriving at the gate at 07:16 for our 07:45 Istanbul-Denizli THY flight, we were not allowed to board the plane because the flight was rescheduled 10 minutes earlier and the gate had already closed. We urgently needed to get to Denizli and were not informed about the flight time change in any way. Besides us, 6 other people faced the same issue. The next flight was at 16:00, and we had to wait at the airport for 8 hours. The staff mentioned that for the past 10 months, morning flights have been rescheduled 10 minutes earlier without informing passengers, causing many people to be inconvenienced. How can such a system failure happen? At least, an email could be sent; it's not that difficult. I request an explanation for the people who were affected.
