Turkish Airlines Flight TK2850, Passengers Left Waiting Without Information
On June 1, 2024, for flight TK2850 from Istanbul Airport to Ordu Giresun Airport, we boarded the plane about half an hour before the scheduled departure time. After waiting inside the plane for approximately 45 minutes, we were disembarked without any explanation and directed to a different gate. At the new gate, there were no staff members to provide any information or boarding time.
Why were we disembarked and moved to a different gate without any explanation or assistance?
Secondly, how will the time lost by so many passengers, who planned their schedules around the flight time, be compensated?
Thirdly, if there was a technical issue with the plane, why were we boarded and made to wait?
I am curious about what kind of compensation will be offered to me regarding this situation. As of 13:26, we are still waiting without knowing the new departure time.
