Turkish Airlines Flight Delay Caused Missed Connection to Ankara
On April 13th, my daughter had a ticket with PNR number WFT26Z for a flight from Greece to Ankara via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. However, due to a delay with the Greece flight, she missed her connecting flight to Istanbul. Despite there being 40 minutes until the flight's departure, she was told the gates were closed. They had indicated availability at 11 AM. It's unacceptable for a young girl to be stranded at the airport for hours late at night, especially when it wasn't her fault. Additionally, her luggage was lost, and she spent hours trying to retrieve it. I am taking this scandalous situation to court. My daughter experienced significant trauma being stranded in an unfamiliar place in the middle of the night. She also had a very important exam, which was put at risk due to this delay. Turkish Airlines caused us great distress. Shame on them.
