Turkish Airlines Denied My Boarding on Flight TK1331 to Germany
On March 3, 2024, I was denied boarding on flight TK1331 at 08:30. Despite arriving at the airport 2 hours early and completing the check-in process 1.5 hours before departure, we were not allowed to board because the gate was closed, causing us significant distress. My 60-year-old mother, who has difficulty walking, was left in tears and exhausted due to your mishandling. We rushed back and forth with our belongings, only to be turned away. I had to hire a taxi from Çerkezköy to Istanbul Airport and then back again, incurring additional costs. This situation has caused me both financial and psychological distress. I seek compensation for the inconvenience caused. It is disheartening to be treated this way by Turkish Airlines, a company we have trusted and flown with for years. This experience does not reflect the standards of a reputable and well-established airline like yours. I await your response.
