I missed my Istanbul to Amsterdam flight, booked with PNR code saıp2c, on Friday because the flight was rescheduled without notice, and the gate closed 30 minutes before departure with no announcements or warnings. I arrived at the gate exactly at 10:10 for my 10:40 flight and found it empty. A total of seven people missed the flight, and no one provided any explanation!
To make matters worse, our luggage was left outside as if it had never been loaded onto the plane, and the flight had apparently taken off 10 minutes early! As a result, I had to spend ₺10,000 on a new ticket, causing me to miss all my important commitments. The stress and fatigue, especially at my age, were overwhelming.
Additionally, when my daughter checked with Turkish Airlines staff, she was told something about the flight being "balanced." Whatever the reason for this inconvenience, Turkish Airlines must refund the cost of the new ticket we were forced to buy!
